It is as simple as counting to 10. We like to call it PSW’s (Referral) Building Process!
1: Select a location, home style and your options colors (that’s right, we include everything, so we’re only requiring you to select your colors!) The price you see is the price you’ll pay, not the 10-30% markup you can expect to pay on top of other builders’ base home price.
2: Get pre-qualified with one of our Preferred Lenders
3: Sign a purchase agreement, including earnest money
4: Construction Welcome Meeting - Meet your PSW Construction representative who will manage the building of your home. The meeting occurs on your homesite and includes an overview of PSW’s commitment to building a quality home.
5: Pre-Drywall Orientation - This orientation demonstrates the structural integrity, mechanical elements, and craftsmanship of your home.
6: Customer Walk Thru – Upon completion of your home, your Construction representative will walk your home to verify all selections and options are installed and correct and provide you with a detailed demonstration of your home systems. Also they will review with you your warranty and discuss other useful information.
7: Before Closing – Your Construction representative will escort you through your new home and verify satisfactory completion of anything identified at the Customer Walk Thru. Then we will contact you about the actual closing process.
8: 1-Month Follow-up - Within ~30 days of Closing, your Construction representative will contact you to ensure everything is in order and ensure your home meets PSW Quality Standards.
9: 6-Month Follow-up – At your ~6-month anniversary, your Construction representative will contact you to ensure everything is in order, discuss homeowner maintenance opportunities and ensure your home still meets PSW Quality Standards.
10: 11-Month Follow-up - As the 1st anniversary of your home approaches, your Construction representative will contact you to review your home and take care of any warranty issues or concerns. If you’re like most of our homeowners, chances are you will be very pleased with your PSW home purchase.
