Virtual Tours
We are pleased to offer fully three dimensional virtual tours of selected Zilker Terrace floorplans using the Virtual Building Explorer application. As tours of various floorplans are developed, they will be added to this page.
To access the tours, please read the following instructions. If you have any questions regarding these tours, please feel free to contact us.
Windows Users:
- Download the tour files for the Windows operating system.
- Once you have downloaded the zipped file, locate it on your desktop or in the folder to which you have saved it.
- Locate the unzipped .exe file and double click it.
- The virtual tour should now take over your screen. Navigate through the house using the mouse to look around and the arrow keys to move.
- To exit the tour or to view more menu options, click the ESC key.
Mac Users:
- Download the zipped tour files for Mac OS.
- Once you have downloaded the zipped file, locate it on your desktop or in the folder to which you have saved it.
- Locate the unzipped file and double click it.
- The virtual tour should now take over your screen. Navigate through the house using the mouse to look around and the arrow keys to move.
- To exit the tour or to view more menu options, click the ESC key.
Operating the Tour
Once you have opened the virtual tour, use these tips to navigate through the rendering:
- Movement within the tour uses both the mouse and the arrow keys. Use the mouse to “look around”, and the arrow keys to “walk”.
- If you are experiencing trouble moving within the tour, try pressing the “F” key to enable the flying mode.
- If at any time you need to view the tour options or controls, press the “ESC” key to show the application menu.
